THE SLUDGE FIGHTER - Wastecorp Plunger Pumps

From energy-saving drive systems to providing the strongest shafts in the business, no other sludge pump brand lasts longer or reduces your costs more than a Wastecorp Plunger Pump.

A plunger pump is a positive displacement pump that uses a plunger to force liquid from the suction side to the discharge side of the pump. Wastecorp Plunger Pumps are specified to move heavy municipal and industrial sludge with dry solids concentrations up to 18-20%. Wastecorp Plunger Pumps offer unmatched long-term reliability and productivity while operating essentially clog-free. There are four main model ranges available:

PE Series (Medium Duty) - Wastecorp PE Series Plunger Pumps engineered for light-heavy duty sludge pumping applications at municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. PE Series plunger pumps are available with standard V-Belt drive, constant speed direct drive, or variable speed/frequency drives. These pumps are capable of flow rates up to 112m3hr and head levels up to 55m Pump capacity can be permanently adjusted through the use of multiple eccentric positions established by an index pin.

HPE Series (Heavy Duty) - Wastecorp HPE Series Plunger Pumps are designed for heavy-extreme duty sludge transfer applications in large, higher capacity city and industrial wastewater treatment plants, food process facilities etc. With operating capacities up to 136m3/hr and heads to 73m, these pumps are similar to the PE Series but incorporate heavier drive components, larger shafts and heavy-duty connecting rod assemblies. Pumps are available with either single or double ball valve configurations for pumping higher percentages of solids.

EHPE Series (Severe Duty) - Wastecorp EHPE Series Plunger Pumps, with capacities equal to the HPE range, are capable of even higher discharge heads of up to 91m, making them ideal for extreme pumping applications at large scale wastewater treatment plants and industrial treatment plants. These units incorporate a separate gear reducer and are offered with constant or variable speed drives depending on the individual application. Heavy-duty shaft material and increased casting classifications make this series the toughest Wastecorp line of pumps for sludge, slurry and raw sewage.

Space Saver Series - The highly efficient Space Saver series has all of the rugged characteristics as other Wastecorp Plunger Pumps but within a compact integrated steel frame. These units are equipped with a uni-construction steel base that eliminates the need for a structural concrete pad. Space Saver pumps can measure as little as 400mm wide, making this series one of the most compact heavy-duty sludge pumps on the market and ideal for replacing existing sub-standard pumping equipment.

In addition to their flagship Plunger Pump, Wastecorp offer a leading range of other heavy-duty solids handling pumps such as Diaphragm Pumps, Disc Pumps, and Self-Priming Trash Pumps, all of which are directly available from Wastecorp authorised distributor, Pump Systems Ltd.
